I still have a ventrillo 3 server that I talk with friends all the time, because the GSM codec sounds so much better in vent than Discord does

Wtf? We living in a simulation.. I literally was just searching on YouTube about xfire, trying to find a documentary about it or just any info about the rise and fall of it. Xfire was my shit back in the day

Yeah, the simulation revolves around you, gamer. Everyone else freezes until you walk into the room.

This program had huge security problems, people could get your IP and DDoS you. I used to do this when playing against my friends in Bad Company 2 when i was loosing lol.

Also you could do the same with skype.

yeah I know, Discord is still not much better, the only benefit it has is not a single user can get ur IP and DDoS you, still Chinese corporation and a fucking shitty UI.

Nostalgia clouds your memory. I loved xfire, then switched to teamspeak, and now discord. Every one was an improvement on the previous one.
