Possible it's in a contract to not advertise yourself outside of the company. You're employed by us and it's against our interest to have someone else trying to hire you while you're with us.

Why would they need to have that they have no obligations in any way shape or form to have those and even if they do have them they probably want to keep it on the down low anyways because i can imagine the harrasment from fans/haters alike

They probably don’t want people messaging or bothering them. I mean that’s why I don’t have it linked for my work.

In America, school shoved it down our throat that we need to make ours public. Is japanese culture different or is it just square enix.

Yes, because ninetndo is so public that it makes them look different from Square Enix, but they're both Japanese, now narrow that down in the same country

US business culture is its own special kettle of fish. You can’t expect all cultures to be the same. For instance, LinkedIn has historically been unpopular in Japan, but it can be useful in the US.

Thank you for taking care to make this responce. As simple as this is, it's true. I did not know this, I assumed everyone was the same except square enix company.

The "square" in Square Enix refers to a box--the only way you're leaving the company.
