1440p 165hz costs as much as a 1440p 240hz display, and the 240hz has better colours for productive use even.. I've spent hours on picking the monitors, now it's just a matter of which combination.

If you are saying having 240hz over 165hz will give you better colors you are wrong. Cheap 240hz probobly arent using top shelf panels nor they have best features.

As I said, I did the research on the monitors, it's just about the combination at this point.
