When was this? Back on Atari when games didn't have multiple variables? Going back to the NES you had games like Mega Man where you would cheese bosses with the weapons they're weak to.

When? even I still remember stuff like megaman 1 pause glitch, or how uterly broken was megaman 2 metal blade, or getting infinite comboed in one of the fighting games, players have abused metas and cheese since forever, info is just more accessible
