We are both fairly experienced in gaming but have been too busy with life and haven't gotten into anything in a while. We have a N64 and PS3 but are considering updating and would be open to Switch or PS5 games that have a 2 player mode. I am hoping for something with a solid story and probably an adventure based game. My wife loves puzzle based games; Tetris, Two Dot, and is crazy good at Galaga but we both got pretty deep into PubG Mobile for a couple years.

Thank you for your help!

Check out It Takes Two. It's a fantastic co-op game and it also deals with marriage!

This looks a lot better than I expected for a game that "deals with marriage", lol. Solid suggestion, thank you!

Well it's a bit more than that but I didn't want to spoil it. It's a fantastic game and I hope you two give it a shot!

This game is exactly what you are looking for I think. Even when you don't have marital problems lol

Overcooked is a blast. I liked Haven as well, which is a cute little story. Destiny 2 ;)

A way out, it's a co op puzzle adventure with decent graphics; it can be played splitscreen or online

Haven

Couch co-op indie rpg with protagonists that are an adorably in love young couple

Difficulty easy recommended for co-op, the games not super hard but it has a few annoying spikes and doing co op introduces a two person timing element that makes the spikes worse. The games more about the story and the interaction of the main characters anyways
