I'm having a problem with my pc. For some reason it is crashing whenever I try and play any games. I have a 1070 graphics card, heaps of ram etc. I've tried installing older drivers thinking it could be the driver update I did a week ago, but it's made no difference. Any ideas? I've tried to play 2 games on Steam and another on GOG and all 3 games are crashing within 10mins of opening.....

the computer is only 6 months old (utilized my son's old graphics card and ram, but everything else is new). no dust, fans all in good working order and temps are at normal levels.

Incompatible ram? Over clocked? Power supply is failing?

Look at:

  • Windows Maintenance Report for any alerts

  • Your monitoring software logs at the voltages, temperatures, utilization etc.

And see if there is anything interesting there?
