Elden ring, it's one of the very few AAA games these last years that has some passion in it... When it comes to indies there are more of them, but i think Valheim was for me the most recent labor of love. (even though it is unfinished and it looks like the devs are losing the passion in it).

Horizon Forbidden West. Story aside, you can't tell me they didn't put some serious love into the graphics and animations.

Did you not like the story? It felt a bit too out there for my taste, if that makes sense.

Dark Cloud. Never finished it when I had it on ps2, so platinuming it felt great.

God of War (2018). Never got around to it on PS4, so got to enjoy it at its absolute best on PS5. From the first five minutes it's just a game that spills over with quality in every aspect. Extremely excited for Ragnarok.
