Gears of war series.

Btw, try to go outside some. Being outside helps with depression.

AC: Odyssey would be my pick. Ancient Greece and great storylines

Spider man is really good if you haven’t played it already.

This doesn’t really fit your genre’s but I’d say a Kirby game, they’re all just very happy games that always put you in a good mood

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla

I’ve got lifelong depression that’s always there but varies in intensity. Sometimes a new game is exciting and helpful but sometimes a game I’ve beaten but really enjoy is what I need too because I know it makes me happy. Like comfort food.

I'm sorry you're going through depression, it's not a good feeling. I used to love Assassin's Creed but I stopped playing it a while ago, never went past Syndicate. Call me petty but I just stopped supporting Ubisoft when I heard about their awful allegations. Even Unity's lead game director allegedly licked a woman's face at a party and bragged about it. But I still thank you for the recommendation, I'm glad we both at least agree that nothing is true and everything is permitted.
