Why wouldn’t there be..? Piracy has effectively been around as long as the distribution of software as a whole

Oh ya I know they were there before in like the early days. But I figured with modern day tech it'd be made unplayable or something.

Welp, no software is unpiratable. Besiedes CDPR themselves said that they wouldn't add piracy protection in CP2077 as with all their other games.
