I think you had me at mechanical dinosaurs...
You didnt know it had mechanical dinosaurs?
Mechs yes, but dinosaurs is actually new to me.
Fun sci Fi story, fun combat, robot animals. $20 is a steal.
I for one really liked the game. Played it on PS4 and went as far as getting the platinum trophy. I had so much fun. The open world doesn't feel empty (at least it didn't to me) and theres some really good challenges and sick weapon-upgrades, especially in the DLC
It’s one of my favorite Sony games
In my Top 20 games of all time... But thats me.
Great story. Play mechanics are fun for me. Great characters. Sequel (Forbidden West) is even better.
I bought ps4 just to play this game in 2018. such a beautiful experience still.
Yay to me. Game's cool.
Yay, it is a good game.
Yay
For me it‘s nay
Yay for 20 bucks for sure. It'll be worth every single one of them.
YAY ABSOLUTELY. Robot TRex ftw
Nay
Yay and thrice yay.
It's a decent game but definitely overrated. Still good fun, 20 bucks is a price for it.
You should buy 69 copies
Nah yeah.
Totally worth it, this Game ist awesome.
Yay! Great game with very unique combat mechanics.
Absolute nay hyped up to be something it's most definitely not
Which one means yes?
Easily worth $20 if you like single player open world narrative games with interesting combat mechanics.
You can get it for half that on a Keyseller.
Nay
Been playing it recently and its a fun and challenging game. Id buy it.
$20 absolutely. $60, maybe if its your style.
I enjoyed it but hasn't stuck in my brain like certain other games had.
A big yay
My favorite world in gaming honestly. The lore just sucks you in and you want to keep learning more. The story is solid but it does drag a bit at the beginning. Combat is super fun and can be challenging if you like that. If not you can basically one shot everything at the lowest difficulty.
I'd absolutely recommend.
I played first one on pc a few months ago. Hooked instantly. Great story, beautiful visuals. Had to get the second one a couple weeks ago. And found out there's a third next year.
So BIG YAY from me.
A massive Yay
It's worth it but head my warning that you will be stuck waiting for the sequel to come out on steam for at least another year.
One of my favorite series of all time. Gets love yet is stil severely underrated
It's a good game.. I didn't finish it.. for whatever reason the game/story isn't engaging enough to me.
Not sure what it is.. a lot of other open world games have the same setup of open world gameplay with side quests and those pull me in.
I hate the fighting in that game, I call that game Horizon Zero Fun. And yet I would say it's a good purchase at that price. Two reasons I'd say buy it.
1: it's wildly popular (everyone seems to enjoy it)
2 : The story was so good I ignored the horrible gameplay just to experience it.
So story yay, fighting nay? I think I can live with that, am a story guy.
Both are yay. I don't know what they're talking about.
It's also visually appealing which helps the story feel more immersive to me.
are the down votes people that don't advise buying the game or do but hate that I don't share their opinion of the gameplay, I don't actually care either way but I am curious.
The latter. And people who can't accept a differing opinion. Honestly, the melee in HZD is pretty bad, but the ranged combat is fun. It's a lot better with a mouse, you aren't stuck with shitty controller rotation speeds.
I hated this game.
Nay. Outside impressive technology, there's nothing I like about it
Nay, forgettable story and characters. Very bland Ubisoft tier open world. It looks pretty as hell and the combat can be very fun but that's like 30% of the experience

Do you wanna fight a bunch of giant mechanical dinosaurs with insane graphics?
