I don't know, I'm supposed to represent the company, in a good way or something and "communicate with the audience" it's my first day

You’re commenting on a massive subreddit with a really vague question and absolutely no point of reference. Where and why did you post your email address?

In our recent game. Don't blame me I don't do that stuff I just tell people about that stuff! :'(

Think you need to go back to the drawing board pal. If you’re reaching out to your audience, you surely need to define your audience first.

We didn't have a Reddit until yesterday I don't know how to reach out audience. I could make a subreddit? But nobody would find it.

You could make a subreddit and start posting in r/indiegaming. Maybe showcase your game and introduce it, and then it may gather some traction.

Also, don’t give your email address out unless you want lots of 8 year olds emailing you.

Subversive marketing is usually clever

I can't tell if this is a compliment or the world's most obscure insult. That word usually... It strikes me to the core.

Eh, I'm getting paid whether it's an insult or a compliment so I don't care. Well I do care a little bit I guess.

It's 100% an insult. When the game fails, it will be largely due to horrendous marketing like this

This screams of an attempt at marketing to get people to engage and click on their Reddit profile to see what it's all about. yawn I think I'll pass on this one.

VaglioloGamesOffical t1_iy8k1k1 wrote

There's literally nothing on our profile but that's for the concern I guess? I'm trying to make people like us by posting stuff.

Has a link to YouTube video, has name of company as reddit username. You're right though you aren't trying to market anything. Have fun with the rapidly dropping Karama and trying to get people to follow you with that.

VaglioloGamesOffical t1_iy8l0tb wrote

It's getting upvotes. But ok I guess? And I don't want followers that badly.

Your -17 Karma says otherwise lmao. They say "any publicity is good publicity." I'm going to grab my popcorn and see if they are right.

Reddit's broken, it showed 100 upvotes. And everytime I reloaded it added one. But after closing the app and opening it again it showed the real number of 2. That's so stupid.

You should probably delete this and do safer marketing to build up some karma first. Reddit will start auto collapsing your comments if you have negative karma in a particular subreddit.
