If you’re more into action-RPG gameplay with some challenge, Elden Ring is for you.

If you intend to buy both within say a month or so of each other get GoW before you get half the story spoiled, if you only have enough for one for a long while then get elden ring because it's a much bigger open world game that you can sink more hours exploring than in GoW
