The boss fight you regret the most?

Hey guys ! I just finished It Takes Two and a thought kinda struck me.

Are there any bosses you regret defeating? Bosses that were hard to face from an ethical point of view? Do you have bosses you don’ want to kill ? He’s maybe nice and you are the bad guy or it’s a very wrong idea for many reasons.

I say that because the boss of our daughter's favorite toy in It Takes Two just destroyed me and I'm curious if for you it is the case but on other support haha

I don't know why but the first thing that came to mind is Tatsumaru in Tenchu 2. Yeah, he was brainwashed at first and eventually sided with the crazy lady of his own accord but I didn't want to kill him.

The Hollow Knight from... Well, Hollow Knight. He starts stabbing himself midfight because the infection is making him lose his mind. Sad music started playing and I just felt sorry for fighting him. He was a good guy, made a big sacrifice, it just... Had to be done.

Not sure if they count as bosses but they were supposed to be high level enemies at the least. The black hand in oblivion, those guys did nothing wrong--except kill people, of course.

I worked construction years ago. The forman wouldn't pay me. It got ugly and I hit him with a hammer. Tuff son of a bitch but I got my money.
