I don't understand OP's hate. As a non Pokemon fan, but an average "Enjoys games, no hate" gamer I don't see what's so bad about them. . . . . . Also I can't wait for these fantastic additions to r34 (blue one)

Scarlet/Violet in general has drifted so far away from the traditional style and design of gen 1-6 of pokemon, that fans are annoyed.

I agree that it doesn't look like pokemon anymore, and I prefer the older stuff, buy i can't be bothered getting annoyed.

The game is, despite itself, pretty fun. I'm very happy I hacked my switch, however. I probably wouldn't be playing it otherwise.
