It seems to me that Game Pass blows PS Plus out of the water but maybe I’m missing something.

Nah you're right, game pass has the better collection of bangers. Especially since it added EA Play. PS plus may include old classics, but it's very inconvenient you have to pay for it if there's only a small handful of classic games that you're locked from unless you pay for the plus. Like the original God of War games for example.

Their roughly equal I’d say, ultimately it depends on what each individual values more.

Library:

  • Roughly same size (3rd party, indie, and shovel ware)
  • PS plus has a far larger, higher quality 1st party library
  • Game pass has day one releases (only about 10 noteworthy first day releases in its history so far though, half being indie and therefore cheaper)

Other:

  • Game Pass has better cloud support
  • Game Pass has a better system in place for delivering classics
  • PlayStation has better classics (albeit only slightly, Xbox has some good ones as well)
  • Ps plus is cheaper

Which one has the most games you’re more interested in playing?

I agree, it varies from person to person. If you like more of the games from Gamepass and get PS Plus, then it's a waste, and vice versa, if you prefer the games on PS Plus and get Gamepass then again it's a waste. Do a little homework and see what service offers the most games you want to play or you would also like to try. When you figure out what service has the most games you like, buy that one. The other option is to try one for a month, then the other the next month and see which one you play more.

Game Pass is probably technically the better system...

I prefer playstation hardware over Xbox by a large margin for personal reasons but MS Game Pass is a better subscription service due to the PC crossover...

All that being said, I'm not really much of a fan of either option though they can function like a game rental service which can be nice for people that can't really drop 50-70 dollars a title for games on a regular basis...

Haven’t used Game Pass yet but currently PS Plus enrolled particularly the PS Plus Extra. What I think is good about it is that they offer some PS exclusive games included in that category.

If play cloud gaming then xbox, or if you have a pc. If you like playstation exclusives better then ps plus, if own ps. Personally think the price difference and xcloud make game pass better value by far

Others have mostly recommended Game Pass, and I would too, but another thing I just want to point out - Every game on gamepass can be downloaded. But on PS Plus, only ps5/ps4 games can. If you want to play any of the older games, they have to be streamed. Which may be fine depending on your connection but personally I've always had poor performance with streaming games, even when the network tests say it should work fine.
