When I was a kid, I packed my NES to take with me on a vacation… including the “Duck Hunt” light gun. My bag got scanned by the airport security, and the officer opened my bag, took a look at my light gun, snorted and put it back.

Today, that would have gotten me an express ride to Guantánamo Bay.

Most kids these days can’t appreciate the classics, I remember when video games were 16 pixels wide, that was considered advanced! Nowadays these kids are so spoiled with their 4k graphics and 144 fps monitors!

I made my 9 year old play the original Zelda and she’d the nerve to say: ‟dad these video games are not only outdated but designed to sell strategy guides in order to maximise profits, emulation introduces problems that’dn’t exist on console conditions such as input delay, therefore all the cards are stacked against me, there’s no way you expect me to beat this within even the week!”

She’s such a spoiled brat, I took away her iPad, Switch, and her new iPhone, that should show her to be appreciative!
