Dungeon Keeper. Used to sit on my stepdads lap as a kid as he played it. Played it a bit myself a handful of year back. When it does come up in conversation no one seems to know it. Dark Cloud on ps2. Yeah, it can get boring but it was always a favorite of mine growing up. The soundtrack makes me so damn happy. Again, no one seems to know of it when it comes up in conversation. Though I'm sure they're not "unheard of" games.

There was a flash game named Sonny that I absolutely loved playing as a kid.

The original Wasteland, until the sequel came out 20 years later.

I'm not sure how well it actually holds up but I was addicted to Scrapland as a kid. Fairly unique, vaguely similar to GTA. You get to fly around in spaceships and explore, race, and fight with them, upgrading and customizing them piece-by-piece. You also have on-foot sections where you can transform and disguise into the different robot races that make up the population of the city all with their own unique abilities. And a pretty cheesy but fun robot-noir story.

Martian Gothic and parasite eve.

Martian Gothic had probably the worst controls ever but loved the atmosphere.
