For the last couple of days I’ve been dying for a really good mystery type of game. Something with a good murder mystery feel to it, any ideas?

There's a bunch of Agatha Christie/Poirot games on Steam that could be worth checking out.
I also really want to recommend Disco Elysium... since you play a detective solving a murder (mostly), but it might not exactly scratch the itch you're looking for. >!It's so good though!<
LA noire is an under rated Rockstar game imo. It's a bit dated but it's good.
Some smaller games you can check out: Firewatch, Blair Witch (by Bloober Team), The forgotten City.
I remember playing the Forgotten City when it was a Skyrim mod and it was really good, is the standalone comparable?
Blair Witch huh? Which one?
The one from Bloober team.
I haven’t played the Skyrim mod, unfortunately. I have heard that it is comparable since they basically took the mod and made it a standalone game, but I don’t know, sorry.
I'll check it out. Last Blair Witch game I played was Rustin Parr and it sucked so I didn't even notice this release. It looks interesting and not too long. Thanks!

The ace attorney games are great for that, if you don't mind heavy humor in between
I feel like there’s a mountain heap of them on the DS.
The main Danganronpa games are the best murder mystery games I've ever played, read some reviews, people love them
Chicken police: paint it red, LA Noire
Danganronpa! it's anime style and there's 3 games, they're all amazing. highly recommend :D
AI Somnium Files
Danganronpa
Ace Attorney Chronicles
Root Film
Same basic premise only expended on. Setting is completely different and the story is quite a bit different so it doesn't feel like playing the same game. Worth playing if you liked the mod.
Amongus
Return of the Obra Dinn might scratch that itch. You play an insurance investigator in the 1800s sent to investigate a dialect ship and figure out what happened to it. You do this by figuring out the identities and how each crew member died
Chicken Police paint it red.Super funny and a really good mystery to be solved.
Return of the Obra Dinn
The Case of the Golden Idol
Ace Attorney franchise
Disco Elysium
The Forgotten City
Pentiment.
La Noir, Judgement and lost judgement
