New game mysteriously in my steam library

So I had recently put house flipper in my wishlist on steam, and the next day it is is in my library ready to download, I am so confused, my gf insists she did not buy it and I know for a fact I didn't buy it or even get gifted it as I have no gift notifications, is there a way to check where this game has come from as I did not make a single purchase?

Try contacting Steam customer support. Not sure if there is any way in client to track transactions for games

So you put a game on your wishlist and it just appeared in your library the next day… and you’re complaining?

You could check your purchase history and see if anything’s there

click on your name -> Account details -> View licenses and product key activations
instead of purchase history, it'll tell you acquisition method, Steam store is directly bought, retail is with a key, complimentary is with something else, Gift/Guest Pass for gifts
