San Andreas has a much better story than V, and even though it's smaller it felt bigger.

Couldn’t agree more. Nothing beats playing the style of a game for the first time either. I never played Vice City.

1 and 2. Probably not the most common take but a little more than two decades after I played my first GTA games, I've come to realize that I actually only truly like GTA as a "light" arcadey top down run 'n gun game with absolutely punishing difficulty.
Also I love GTA2's original retro cyberpunk setting.

Agreed. Big world, lots to do, interesting story that escalated on the "bonkers" scale the more you played, last game with a decent cast.

San Andreas, was the first I ever played as a kid and honestly before playing the storyline was just satisfying and fun driving around doing random stuff then discovering the cheat codes and blowing stuff up with a tank 😂

For me San Andreas and GTA Online (because of the cars and first person camera, i dont spend money on the game, but damn i love playing in first person, hope they add this camera în 6 also)

The quality of V is obviously a draw, but the most fun I had was playing San Andreas when I was younger. The joy of youthful gaming is unmatched.
