Came here to say this, though it's probably quite expensive to pick them up at this point. Does Dread do it as well? Return of Samus was missing it, which I really didn't like because scanning everything was one of my favorite parts of Prime.

Didn’t think this would be the top comment but I adore the metroid universe/metroid prime lore. Strong suggestion of sentient planets among other really interesting fun ideas.
