I have two of them
- Neir Automata. Initial storyline was a little confusing. Slow to develop. Wasn’t the prettiest to look at. The map was confusing to me at the time for some reason.
Came back to it way later in the year and loved the characters, multiple story endings, gameplay variation, and just the overall tone/soundtrack.
- Wasteland 3. Originally also slow to develop. I already have a hard time getting into isometric RPGs. Was focusing too much on the side quests to level up. Was leveling up the wrong skills. Because of that not hitting the dialogue or environmental skill check
Picked it back up two years later for Christmastime. Killed my first Scorpitron and immediately got reattached to the game. Now I’m back into the loot drops, main quest lines, got my perks back on track. Enjoying the strategic combat. I’m appreciating more of the entertaining dialogue and dynamic choice and consequence
