I made the switch from Xbox to PC as well, and the only games I was able to keep were exclusives like Forza for example. But like someone else commented, Steam Link is your best bet.

If you’re gonna play keyboard and mouse, but have games you’d prefer with a controller (for me, its the souls-like games), you’d wanna save one of your controllers.

Yeah, I'm definitely saving a controller. I've actually got Forza as well. Don't think I'm bothered much about the games I'll potentially lose, don't have that many, or they're dated now anyway.

If I'm buying games in the future I'd imagine would be via Steam then... So less and less on the Xbox so probably no reason to keep it?

How have you found the change from Xbox to PC? Recommended? Any drawbacks?

Thanks.

I am glad I made the switch. Depending on what kind of setup you get, the games will run much better, and, personally, playing with keyboard and mouse feels better than the analog sticks of a controller. Plus to potential for modding, which could make games like Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls series loads more fun.

Steam also have sales throughout the year that allow me to get 3-5 solid games typically under $50-$75, per sale period. Definitely would recommend since you also have an interest in editing and stuff; you’ll be able to find some really good programs. Hope this helps
