So, I just discovered that my girlfriend really enjoyed watching me play video games and I want to play other games as well to keep things interesting. The thing is, the only games I played before are exclusively MOBAs and nothing else. I would love to hear your thoughts on what are the most enjoyable games in the past decades that my PC can handle.

Specs: I3 4th gen, 4 gb, nvidia 630

Check out some roguelites like Enter the Gungeon and Binding of Isaac. They have hours of playtime/variety and can run on a baked potato.

I'm unsure on the requirements of these but it's worth checking the below, depending what you're into.

Divinity Original Sin 2.

Dragon Age Origin.

Firewatch

Abzu

Octopath Traveler

Bravley Default

Banished is good, son is heroes of magic and might 3, prob my go to games.

Something a bit more modern, cities skyline if you just go for the base stuff.

Slay the spire but it's been mostly a switch game for me same is true for moon lighter both of which are on pc and would make a fun, oh would you like a go type games.

If you have a controller for your PC, I'd highly recommend emulators for old consoles. You should be able to comfortably play PS1 and below given your PC. Older indie titles should also be fine. If you want to get into rhythm games (and also improve your mouse aim for MOBAs), Osu is free and beginner/potato friendly.

City builders or grand strategy games.
That way the backseat gamer can still actively participate if she likes.

Or maybe some single player game with a theme or setting both of you enjoy.
ci-fi, Fantasy, a western or whatever.

I dont know shit about PC Specks but "Fuga Melodies of Steel" is a rather humble game. Its also has a free demo which is just straight up the first 3 chapters of the game. So you dont need to buy it in order to try out if your PC can run ut.
