Why does nobody hire David Hayter

I know his voice for Snake isn't exactly high art, but it is one of the more iconic voices in video game history. When looking at his IMDB, the man barely gets any significant work. I would love to hear more of this guy.

Maybe he just think he is better than he actually is and ask for more money than anyone is willing to pay, or maybe they dont like him, Who knows

He’s the voice of one of the playable characters in Star Wars The Old Republic, which I imagine is a pretty consistent gig.

it's not a voice acting gig but he's actually directing a whole tv show for american mcgee's alice, a horror game, which is absolutely mindblowing to me.

IMDB should have answered your question, honestly. He has been doing plenty of screen writing for television and films, directing his own films, was recently a lead producer on the Netflix show, Warrior Nun. He's been doing a lot on top of smaller VA roles.
The man is busy.
