Pretty much what the title says. I'm looking for games that feel similar to hi fi rush. It's kinda hard to explain what I want in words but I'm not necessarily looking for another rhythm based game, I'm looking for something with bright colors, smooth controls, and a story that just makes you feel good if that makes sense. Sure the dialogue and the story were a bit cheesy and over the top at times, but I want more games that just make me feel happy to play, without much thinking, that I can just kinda enjoy if that makes sense

Do you like JRPGs? If so, Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana is bright, colorful, and just has such a happy, adventurous spirit with an amazing soundtrack.

No Straight Roads is possibly the closest thing you'll get to more of Hi-fi, though I haven't yet played Hi-fi so I can't completely say for sure. It has a lot of passion and style with it though, even if it could be a bit more polished in the gameplay department. Just stay away from the switch version.

I've heard nothing but amazing things about sekiro and I'm sure it's a great game, but rn I'm going through some rough things in my personal life so I'm looking for things lighthearted and happy, sekiro seems too serious for what I personally want. Maybe I'll check it out some day but not for now

It's the same gameplay. Colorful and wild set pieces. Good music. Cheesy and over the top story.
You're just fighting devils and angels with over the top sex appeal instead of robots.
Devil May Cry 5 same thing. Except instead of cartoons or sex appeal it's edgy coolness to the point of complete cheese.
