Retro games for an old gamer to new gamers

So several years ago i regrettably (understatement) sold my whole collection of consoles and games.. a fortune now but its not a money post...

I bought an emulator or whatever the best term is.. so now i can access supposedly over 10k games going from practically anything from commodore to game boy to nes to snes to n64 to mega drive to PlayStation to well yeah you get the idea... anything pre xbox 360 best i can describe it...

I have to asks of the community here... I would love to revisit my younger years and play the games i have forgotten (or missed out on) and also to get my daughters into some old school gaming (ages 8 & 10)..

So if you had access to any game please what would you suggest... as having almost unlimited options to choose from is worse than limited lol

1.... For an old gamer that loves retro...

2.....To get my daughters off Utube and playing games (ideally multi player or short exchsnge 2p)

I seem to remember a great ghostbusters game on commodore... might be too slow for daughters though lol

I'm biased towards Nintendo but I think all of these games have held up just fine. Maybe original Mario is a bit stupid to kids these days though but the Super Nintendo one is better.

How retro? Atari vcs might be a good fit. With the free version of antstream installed, you’ll have access to thousands more retro games.

Maybe (for the girls toooo retro lol)... they have spent a long time on roblox (not sure thats right).... so needs to be atleast good looking

But tried them them with chip and dale rescue rangers on NES and they loved it lol... but found it difficult
