There are usb dvd drives. Physical copies also come with a download code, so you can also download them.

USB DVD drives are cheap.

Also most physical PC games these days are just CD keys. Activate and download.

Most new boxed PC games come with a code anyways. For example, I have the retail box of Cyberpunk 2077 and it came with a code, the actual discs in it are for the soundtrack.

But like everyone else said, for older games on discs use a USB drive.

Hardly any PC game case has CDs these days, they are mostly just vouchers/codes for a digital store front.

I've saved my CD drive from my first PC for exactly this issue. 😅

I was going to get rid of it but the country I lived back then didn't sell CD drives or options for them so I ended up keeping it. It was before I had a card that could be used to order online.
