Lots of people commenting on how it's sad, but my first thought was "it's the anniversary of me killing my mortal enemy. Time to piss on his grave again. Hah!"

Probably... Not what you were going for, but great gif, OP!

At first I thought that was supposed to be a Diglett, and he is watching the sunset with his Diglett friend.

Looks beautiful.

Only thing I will say is may be reduce the animation on the water/sun. It isn't very uniform and some places are static while others move a bit too much.

It’s an excellent game. If you’re into charming pixel-art point-and-click games with mystery and melancholy, it’s absolutely worth it. The main scientist characters are quirky, lovable dorks, and are a solid source of levity for how tragic Johnny and River’s story gets. The game also delves a bit into some of the challenges autistic people face when interacting with a neurotypical society. Oh, and that heartrending soundtrack… It’s hard for me to cry over music, but this is one of those rare works that did it for me.

You really should play it sometime 🙂
