What was the most important thing you learned about technique?

I think you can see it. The difference between the first and last drawing.

So what you're telling us is that drawing 100 heads doesn't make you any better at answering questions.

Junk_Drawings OP t1_iuqoxzr wrote

I think you already know that answer 😁😁😁 without my reply.

If you draw 100 heads you are going to be way better by the end!

It's a skill anyone can learn. YouTube has tons of great tutorials, and all you need to start is paper and pencil!

So cool, totally appreciate the dedication ! How many bad heads would one have to draw before getting a reasonable one? πŸ˜… pls don't say 10000

Looks really good! My only complaint is how you made the video- the parts where it zooms out(?) make me lose focus so I miss the next drawing or two and have to go back for it.

Junk_Drawings OP t1_iuqgawr wrote

I made the gif later. Actually it's a video with sound. See it in my profile. I think you will like it then. It matches the beat

Fair. All in all though, your art is so good! I can only dream of doing that.

You made these from pictures. Drawing from pictures makes your art look flat.

Next post like this should draw people from them posing for you which will really gauge your ability as an artist.

When you know nothing about a subject, it's best to read and listen, not write or speak. Or just keep scrolling.

If the OP did this from memory or got these celebrities to pose then I will take back what I said. But I’m pretty sure I know where they came from. Drawing from a photo or anything that isn’t real life as in sitting in front of the subject will in turn makes it look flat.
