Hi all! This pixel art animation is 320x200px using 4 colors and 40 hand drawn frames. I doubled the resolution for viewing purposes. I hope it brightens your day <3

Yes. White, light grey, dark grey, charcoal. Well, I guess they all have blue in them. But I had to show myself past the illusion as well. Something something perceived shadow

What made you choose hand draw over some pixelate color/scale map filtering program?

  • like im a little rusty on my signal processing, but a averaging filter convolution/downsample, then 1/sqrt() normalization to color map, wouldnt even be bad in numpy
