This is a purely subjective question, only you will know what eq you like most. Pick the one that's closest to your preferences and tweak slightly from there if you'd like.

i've recently bought this headphone (superlux hd 681) to try out what open back headphones sound like and read a lot of comments about this model having very high trebles. i've been trying out autoeq's in the peace UI to fix that but can't really decide on which one to use. they all sound different but i can't say one sounds better than the other while listening to music

Don't use any of them, they are automatically generated from those people's measurements to AutoEQ's Harman-but-not-quite-Harman target and are generally not very good.

As Oratory1990 has measured them, he has a number of Harman-actually-Harman presets for that headphone with different pads, use one of those instead.

I would use an actual preset from oratory rather than automatically generated one - https://www.reddit.com/r/oratory1990/wiki/index/list_of_presets

is the one that says oratory1990 not the same as this? i thought auto eq just meant it was "automatic" for you and not auto generated

It's not the same. It's based on his measurements, but it's automatically generated (and that's where the name actually comes from).

Oratory measures the headphones himself, listens to them and fine-tunes the settings by ear. Looking at his PDFs you can also see that his presets are easier to tinker with, as he specifies bands that you should adjust to preference.

It doesn't mean that oratory's presets will be better for you, but his approach seems more correct.

In the end all comes down to your preference, if you like some of the AutoEQ presets more then feel free to use it and enjoy.

from my experience, manually do the autoeq on the websites like crinacle graph tool or squig link is much better and more convenience because you know how would the eq would sounds like

Listen to one party for a while well and then move to the next... You should notice the difference almost immediately... That should give you a gauge of which one you fancy the most
