What is the normal amount of time that cables last for you guys? I've had 2 relatively expensive (like 100 bucks, not Abyss gold plated or anything) cables break in under a year (stops making sounds out of one cup unless the cable is oriented in a certain angle/position in both cases). Is that kinda just how cables are, or this should not happen? I was able to RMA one of the cables, so that's good, but while I'm waiting for that the other one broke and now I'm SOL

Stock Beyer cable getting pulled on hard almost every day for a year now and no issues at all.

My Grado 325is with the garden hose cable still work. I’ve had them for more than 10 years now.

The cable on my Fostex TH-X00 looks all janky, but it still works after 6 or so years.

That’s pretty much it for long lasting headphone cables. I do have some Monoprice RCA cables that are older than middle schoolers 😂
