Shoot was taken with the new s23 ultra. These are the fiio fh5s. My first ever iem where the t20 from rha which i sadly lost after i moved out. I tried out multiple headphones but i think my heart will stick to iem's cause of their comfort.

Are these IEMis a new breed of earphones or have they always been around? I've seen 2 posts now about these IEMis didn't know anything like this exited unless they're just fancy earphones? Can someone enlighten me.

So this utws5, do you then attach some iem earpieces to the gold end? Can any iem earphone attach or does it have to be the same brand Fiio?

i think every mmcx iem should work perfectly with them

Amaakaams t1_j8gadoi wrote

To second this. FIIO has 2 pin options as well for the UTWS5, so you don't always have to get MMCX IEMs (though it's recommended to get the MMCX and the MMCX to 2 pin adapter so you can still adjust the IEM angle).

I am nlt sure what you meant now. But i think the compatibily list if the utws5 is huge

Amaakaams t1_j8gbrr6 wrote

I was just saying it's not just limited to MMCX they offer .78mm 2 pin set as well for the non-MMCX IEMs.

The second part was just that most people suggest getting the MMCX anyways even if you have a 2 pin IEM, because it can still swivel with an adapter (and get a better fit) whereas a normal two pin can't always adjust well enough to fit comfortably.

i would say with my fh5s i found my endgame. i dont wanna know how much better the FH7 are. the Semi Open back design really helped with the soundstage but still they have deccent isolation. i was walking on the walkway beside a busy road and i didnt hear shit of them while the music was plaiiny. only when the music was off i heard it muffeled

My first set was the Fiio FH3 and they are incredible for the money! I’m sure that set is even better.

What are these even?

Prestonality t1_j8gsrjg wrote

Have you tried gaming with those? Looks like the semi open back would give it a decent soundstage.
