I've had these for a month now and returning them today after a terrible/non-existent customer service experience. First of all, I bought them at full price ($699.95) a few days before they went on sale for a $100 cheaper. I submitted a request for a reimbursement. I figured I'd skip the whole process of returning and re-purchasing at the cheaper price. Have not received a response after several attempts.

Secondly, the left headphone has sporadically gone dead the past few days. Judging from Amazon reviews, this isn't a one-off. Several others are complaining about the same issue. Instead of implementing better QC, I think they're just offering them on sale now because of this. It really sucks because I loved the sound quality of these when they worked. I can't even submit a warranty claim because Sennheiser makes you pay for return shipping that way. So, I'm returning them today (while I have a new Null Audio cable coming in) to get the cheaper rate. I'm wondering if I should even re-purchase. Has anyone else encountered shitty service from them?

Seems to be in issue with the cable. A lot of users complain about it cutting out on the 200, 300 and even 900 as well.

Unacceptable at this price point and shame on Sennheiser for failing its customers. Their headphone lineup is known for lasting literally decades and yet they cannot figure out a way to build a secure and lasting IEM connector. Pathetic, really.

I'd love to suggest the Sony IER M7 at this point, but depending on your location they might be unavailable.

Not the cable. Its the earbuds themselves, the RH of mine stopped working and I'm currently waiting for a replacement via RMA

Yeah, it’s not the cable that’s the issue. How long ago did you ship it out?

Been 2 weeks, nothing yet. They have a 3rd party for warranty claims here in my region but I imagine it would be faster if you were talking with sennheiser directly

Yes i saw that problem too on amazon. The best solution is when u buy this kind of iems at this price on amazon. Buy 3 years warranty as well for like 15$

The IE600 is great but they definitely have some QC issues with driver failure. It seems to mostly happen within the 1st month on most of the issues I've seen. Sennheiser should deal with the problem and it has a 2 year warranty, it sucks they've been so unresponsive. Personally I would just re-buy for less and hope you don't get another lemon.

As long as you can get long warranty on your purchase, they are one of if not the most natural sounding IEM in that price range and possibly one of the few "affordable" endgames out there. It seems that driver failures happen early anyway.
