I've had hit and miss experience with the original jitterbug. Does it work? YES! I noticed an epic difference with Schiit Modi, with Teak UD301, and with Arcam rPAC. It did, however, merk a pair of KEF X300A speakers on me they went into error mode (that was an awful set of KEFs IMO anyways though)

Anybody use a jitterbug with the K7? I jumped the gun and ordered one 5 mins ago I'll have it tomorrow. Anybody got experience with the combo? I got the Jitterbug FMJ which appears to be the latest version. It's chonkier than the original, and metal.

usb filters make sound too cheeseburger/cake'y , i like 5grand powercables, they make my sound like creamy moonlace, acellerating like black and white styled rally toyota tacoma, printed on a rounded game cube, made from 11% wool, and 89% cotton.

what a great product, it even kills equipment you don't like

So what is the epic difference.
You might want to make sure that your equipments are properly grounded too, as that might make even more epic difference compared to using usb filters.

Boom, roasted.

Ok folks, I get it. I'm getting roasted pretty hard here.
I didn't do my research. I've been out of hifi for a while and only recently got back into it and last time I hit hifi semi hard (well more mid-fi and chifi to be fair) these USB filters were all the rage. I must admit I bought the jitterbug out of nostalgia... I'm still going to try it. It'll be here in about six hours. Will report back. I have no equipment to measure other than my two ears.

Sorry for causing raised emotions.

dont worry about the "nonbelievers", i also heared differences with the ifi isilencer for the better, tho overall it seems that these filters are just a fix for a suboptimal transferformat (usb), many people like AES/SPDIF for that reason

imo you shouldnt believe any people on the ethernet (objectivists or subjectivists so to say), if you are curious make your own test :)

tho objectivists have a point, while there are things that make a difference (like cables and usb filters) the question is if its worth the premium and there is "good snake oil" and "crappy snake oil" out there
