They broke in the exact same spot. Cable break on the inside of the ear that is impossible go fix without soldering. It's Ike a weak point

My SR850s rubber insulation/covering is getting detached from where the cable meets the headphone, use em carefully. They still sound good tho.

Heard it's a bit better. But is the same sound flavor as the Superlux which I really dug, I mean heck, I used em for three years.

I would say thats a pretty good life for some headphones. What did you like about the superlux'? I havent really heard much about them

Soundstage. They felt super wide if you catch my drift. Also theyre very detailed. It's a lot of fun listening to/composing and producing music with em as they're well suited for all tasks.

And I could finally stop only wearing one earpiece at a time as I could hear shouting family members even with both on lmao

  • Buy the Evo and a 672.
  • Replace the horrible earpads of the 672 with the pleather pads of the Evo.
  • Sell the Evo with the velour pads.
  • EQ the 672.
  • Now you have perhaps the best headphone that you can get for < 200$.

Why not just buy a 672 and different pads lol

Separate replacement pads are more expensive and the selected type may happens to be not compatible with this headphone type.

Pads are less than $20. If you search "Superlux HD672 pads" on AliExpress there's a bunch of options.
