Dropped 50 bucks on a pair of earbuds - seemed to have good reviews. I’d like to use it but unfortunately it falls out of my ears whenever using it. I was wondering if there was an “adapter” moulded in the shape of Apple’s earbuds (the flat ones) because those are the only kind that fit me. Does it exist at all? Are there any DIY fixes I can do? Wrapping the wire around my ear doesn’t help either. Still very new to shopping for higher quality earbuds and I don’t want this one to go to waste. Any help appreciated, thanks!

Maybe this will help: how to wear IEMs

If you get the right size tips and an adequately deep fit there's no reason they should be falling out.

Dang, sorry. Well, maybe you could try bullet-style IEMs(they tend to get around some fit issues due to ear anatomy). They're typically just long-ish and cylindrical, and usually lightweight. Like the Final E5000 or Flare Pro 2HD. Or just small IEMs in general like the Hifiman RE400. If you can use foam earplugs you should be able to use small earphones too I would think, I dunno though. Good luck!

Maybe play around with a variety pack of regular tips to see which size fits you best. I would also look at foam tips, they help with fit

Does it just slip out of the ear?

yup. trying to plunge it in further doesn’t do anything either.

This may sound silly, but have you tried going with a larger size. Also what is the earbud your using specifically?

Just tried out all the ear tips that came with it - unfortunately nothing really stayed in after a few seconds working the jaw. I’m using a Tin HiFi T2 that’s sort of got a little “nozzle”.

Oh I have those! Let me look for foams that would work with those. The foam tips that come with those fit me well but they don’t really fit a large variety. I’d recommend a larger sized foam tip (I just need to look into the right model for the nozzle size of the t2)

Tin HiFi T2 is an in ear monitor not earbuds so they go inside your ear canals, if you kinda make it sit outside your ears they would definitely fall out. and make sure you put cable over around your ears.

also you should check out the link that SweetCans928 posted

wasn’t aware of the terminology difference between ear buds and in-ear headphones - apologies
