These things are exxy af in straya, but managed to get them for sale at $999.
On first listen my reaction was 'omg finally, this is what I've been looking for'
Clearer, exciting and more confident sounding than my previous hd6xx, hd600, hd598 and m40x.
Definitely end game. Because there's no way I can afford to spend more on headphones 😂

I love how Focal headphones look the part too.
So many high end headphones just look like drivers with wires connected to them but every Focal looks so good.

I got the Clears last year on sale and similarly to you I went from a HD6XX, been loving them except for maybe the cables that are included.

Yes, A2A sale so good I actually just got elegias after having the clears for a bit and loving them.
I'm in the same park as you, upgrading from 6xx the clear are the 6xx without the veil and with an even richer/thicker sound.

Would you say that the MG can be EQ'd to sound similar to the OG? There's somone selling the MG professional for the equivalent of $620 and I am not sure if I should pull the trigger. I prefer a brigther sound.

My time with the MG was short, but iirc while they do sound different, they don't sound that different. If you're comfortable with using eq, I'd say that it would be well worth the price!

Got B stock in the A2A sale on the Clears as well. So nice, except those cables but have replacements. I have found the headband had a horrible sore spot on the top of my head though, even after manipulating it. Ended up buy the ZMF Cresent Snap headband cover and now its heaven.

Just had my OG Clears on for a good listen and paid the $999 from A2A too. Definitely good value and is a good contender/alternative listen as the hd 800s :)

Clear OG gang. Bought them on a whim seeing them dip to 999 last year but seems like it is going to stay that way for a while.
Definitely an engaging listen. Make sure you got the right mood and energy when you listen to them!
