I got an old pair of Bose Quiet Comfort 35 ii, audio technica ath-m50x, and just standard airpod gen 2. All 3 cant compare to my Tribit X Sound Go. I'm sure spec wise the headphone beat it in some way or another but how the hell does it make a better sound?
By the way I don't really know too much about audio setups and stuff but I know enough that it doesn't make sense to me.

That's because in 2023 Bose headphones and earphones are just mid at best.
So are the ATH M50X for that matter.
Also as a followup to my previous comment, you're definitely not an audiophile and you don't have a critical ear because M50X, bad as they are, sound better than even the $200 Klipsch Promedia or the $250 Bose Revolve+ 2 speakers. It sounds like you're just a bass head, which is fine, but you have to understand that sound is subjective and you don't have "normal" (no insult intended) audio preferences that would line up with the majority of the public (again no insult) which is fine. If you do buy headphones again look for something with very heavy bass to match your preferences. Again the Sennheiser Momentum 4 is a good choice for this.
Have you tried planar? Kz pr1 pro isn’t expensive but got some clean sounds. If bass is what you’re looking for then I can’t help you.
KZ PR1 Pro has a lot of bass, but sub-bass focus so it isn't bloated. Agreed it's good, at least if you can handle the treble.
I found speakers with a basic subwoofer to sound better than any of my headphones.
It's a different beast entirely, headphones don't have true soundstage, the bass you can feel from your entire body is always better than just hearing and feeling with the ears.
The biggest reason I love headphones is the comfort and accuracy. With a speaker even turning my head changes the sound to a point where I'd rather use a headphone.
This could also be the case of you having headphones I would in no way describe as good.
To be fair, neither of the headphones you have are HiFi. ATHM50X doesn't deserve to be popular just like Beats doesn't deserve to be popular but they're available at every Best Buy and people buy them and think they're good. They're not. Actually IMO M50X is worse than the old M50 (no X) and definitely worse than the cheaper M40X. If you want to truly get good sound out of wired headphones you're going to need to run them off a semi decent dac/amp and get some decent headphones.
Having said that there are some things that headphones will never do as well as speakers, such as if you're just a total total bass freak. Overall though, in terms of clarity and detail, headphones tend to give you more bang per dollar vs speakers, if you know what to buy.
So TLDR blame your headphones. Try something higher end. If you don't want to bother with an amp you might find something wireless like Sennheiser Momentum 4 or even the cheaper 450BT sounds a lot better. Make sure you have at least BT 4.8 on your phone/other devices.
In a way, you're right.
At the same time, maybe you should try good (not necesseraly expensive) headphones, especially an open back. Headphones does not compare to speakers, still.
But if you still want to compare (and if I understood the problem in this comparison) : the Koss KPH40 and Grado SR80x should beat your bluetooth speaker, and your 3 headphones by a mile ;-)
None of the headphones listed are particularly expensive owing to sound quality. The ground floor of low-end hi-fi, decent passive wired headphones starts around $200-250. Essentially, all of the expense is going to the drivers in the headphones.

No, though... I've wanted to try the 1990s. I like the balance of the 1470s. They have strong bass response but maintain a clean (but not too aggressive) top end. I run Sennheiser HD 650s for open back/airy clarity typically.

Probably because you like a different kind of sound signature to the main stream. Do you like a lot of Bass or not a lot of Bass? Mids? Headphones are tuned in a ton of ways.
True audiophile headphones seem to be lacking in bass for my tastes so I prefer outliers like the Fostex Th900 MK2.
Also the Bose aren’t the best wireless sound. try something like Mark Levinson 5909s for clarity and something like Bowers and Wilkins PX8 for more V shaped or bassy
