I haven't noticed a difference personally. Are you asking because you have?

I may have noticed a small difference (the sound feeling a bit more open - like a wider soundstage - and a bit more precision - meaning easier discerning different sounds).

However, the focus here is on may, since it was subtle and could also be just a psychological trick my mind played with me.

There is a difference, but it's subtle. Take them to a coffee shop and then switch back and forth. You should notice voices and some background noise gets a bit quieter in Silent mode.

ANC Soft has more hiss than Silent. You can watch Aregina's review for more info: https://youtu.be/itzCkCaVcTU

That's the biggest question I have about the Bathys. I'm not interested in any noise-cancelling headphones that have any more hiss than my AirPod Pros.

I don't hear any hiss in mine.

We are talking 2.3db with ANC on, so it makes sense that you can't perceive it. Doesn't mean it's not there, but there is around a .5db increase in the noise floor of the ANC soft mode. Again, probably not audible, but could be why BingaBenga perceived a sound quality difference.

Of course, this is just one reviewer's sample. There is probably some unit variance as well.
