Thanks. I won't lol.
> Are you planning on eating your headphones?
Yes?
I'll trade you something with less heavy metals for your LCD's
REACH put an end to that. It sucks as leaded solder flows so much nicer.
Don't worry: The lead will kill you only if it leaks into your ears while in the state of California.
In California everything wants to kill you. Weird state
And people say Australia is bad.
It is though, i just went to Sydney and the Australian middle aged women do want to kill you, especially your eardrums, when they talk loudly non-stop even during a performance in the opera house. Australia is dangerous, watch your step
Good for transparency to know if a product your buying contains a poisonous substance, even though it's not a concern in most use cases.
Everything wants to kill you expect the government. Jkjk. They are just very cautious and overprotective tbh. It is what it is.
That's actually pretty funny.
Only in California
Jokes aside probably leaded solder used to connect wires to the drivers
Alright thanks.
What would LEAD you to ask such a question? Have you been MEDDLING in other people’s business?
Sorry. It’s bad-pun-O’clock.
That was really bad. Upvoted! ⬆️
With the LCD X's the Head band, Yolks, cups, drivers and pads are all made of solid lead.
Only if you're listening to heavy metal
Most consumer electronics and anything with that little ROHS sticker will use lead free solder. I'd be surprised if anything from a reputable company still used leaded solder.
Great thanks
Headphones have never contained lead im pretty sure?
Many will have it in the solder, but you should have a nice obnoxious warning on the device or box from the state of California.
Edit to add: Newer stuff may well not. At least some newer stuff.

Remember specially in California if there is a possibility that the item might come into contact with any cancerous substances including lead. They have to add that warning.
That could be something as simple as they use lead solder to something as confluted as the tool used to make the headphones could have come into contact with a cancerous agent at some point during its manufacturing.

Probably in the electronics and the solder. Are you planning on eating your headphones?
