Of the multitude of pictures only one on the HiFiGo site shows left side of the product with the buttons. Seems like a conspiracy. But that image is very important. The middle button (pause/play) has a longer shape and what seems like a bump on it. Much easier to operate by feel. Great update from Shanling.

Honestly I would save the 100 bucks and buy a M3x if you are interested in this.

It's old enough that some apps are not available, but the main gripe for me is that shanling's attempt at backporting the gesture UI is not good.

It's far too easy to accidentally swipe back or to the homescreen, and that's very frustrating. I've given up and now use the floating ball UI.

As someone who has recently purchased the M3X, one of my biggest issues with it is Android 7 not supporting wavelet, or any proper parametric eq from what I can tell. I would have seriously considered getting the Ultra if it was out when I needed a new DAP.
