Headphones that are old and have battle scars always feel so much special to listen too

Yep there's something nice knowing it's a quality product that has not only been used and loved but survived everything thrown at it! Kind of reassuring.

Got these cheap last week from ebay for £60. Absolutely loving them. I actually prefer them to my speaker setup which is strange! I haven't unplugged them since last week. Using them with a fosi audio dac-q4.

Comfy though I have to hook my glasses over the top because the clamp force is quite high (was giving me headaches with glasses underneath). They do get a bit warm because the seal is literally perfection around my ears.

The sound is so unique. The bass is deep and powerful (sounds and feels like my sub is strapped to my head) yet the mids are still super detailed and there's absolutely no bleed whatsoever, its all crystal clear. The highs are somewhat dark but are still detailed. This makes it very enjoyable to listen to and perfect for movies and gaming but still very enjoyable for music.

The build quality is all metal which does give it a bit more weight than I like. Hopefully they last a long time. They feel like you could probably chuck them off a building and they would work just fine after.

I think I got an absolute steal at £60!

I don’t know why they stopped making these. If there was one pair of DJ headphones that I’d give my HD25’s up for, these would be it. You got a damn good deal!

Yep they seem to be rare. I'd never seen or heard of them before and took a chance. How are the hd25s for comfort?

They’re super light and fairly comfortable. I don’t really use them for daily listening, but with the yaxi pad upgrade they’re way more comfy than with the OG pads.

mine are 5 years old, they are the most bomb proof headphones I have ever owned, all the headphones I used before it were dead before year 3 but these ones can actually hold up to commuting, travel and pretty much anything. I have only had to replace the pads twice (not a lot compared to other headphones I have owned)
