This was a much needed upgrade from my airpods pro (1st gen) and kz zs10 pro. After using ie300 for 3 weeks i can’t go back to kz and airpods. They just sound wrong.

I can easily say that i am impressed with the sound profile. I like v shapes but most v shaped headphones suck. IE 300’s profile is just right. Ok you can’t master music with these but for listening and enjoying music IE 300 is just perfect. Not the most detailed or bassy or it doesn’t make my ears bleed like chinese treble. The bass is just right. It doesn’t make other frequencies unhearable like most cheap IEM’s but also its really punchy. Also it can be driven by anything. So sensitive and loud. I have been using the IE 300 with apple dongle and Fiio BTR5. With apple dongle even 75% is loud enough for me.

But the included tips suck. They are so thin that with any of them I couldn’t get a good seal. So I have been using them with sony wf100-xm4’s foam tips. I don’t like comply because it absolutely destroys lower frequencies.

The included cable is good enough for 300 bucks headphone but you can replace it. Also consider that not all mmcx cables are compatible with these so research before buying a third party cable. I bought fiio balanced (I dont remember the model) cable and I couldn’t fit it so I removed the blue and red rings from the cable and it worked.

For 300 bucks if you love sennheiser sound profile and bit of a bass IE 300 is perfect for you.
