Does anyone else listen to their records via headphones?

Normally, I listen through my speakers, but recently I connected my headphone amp to my receiver to test this out and after listening to a few records I like it just as much as the speakers. A pro is that I can hear more detail that I can't in my speakers and that I don't have to mess around with my room treatment. The only con, is that if you have an imperfect record, you can hear the cracks and pops. However, I try to give my records a good clean before I listen.

I definitely do this with good quality pressings but anything with a bit of surface noise is quite noticeable on headphones. The pre-amp in my speaker system is also the HP amp in my flair so all sources can be played back over speakers and/or headphones.

My gut is more on being accentuated by the particular FR vs a driver technology but I haven't put much effort into "unraveling" this one. I don't do much vinyl record listening late at night which is when I tend to choose headphones over speakers. Should I hit one of those sessions I just skip the HE6se/Arya and grab the ones I mentioned.

I exclusively use my turntable for headphones. I don’t have a good setup for speakers so I don’t bother.
