Just wanted to drop in after receiving the Blessing 2 and give my 2 cents on this IEM. I was a little concerned about the "stale" sound I've heard some use to describe these. Even before I applied a squig.link EQ to make them sound more like the Dusk I was blown away by their quality and how much I enjoyed their tuning. After applying said EQ I think I'm done (at least for quite a while lol) searching for the right pair of IEMs.

I guess I misunderstood what people meant by "stale" while reading up on these. These are easily the most well balanced IEMs, maybe even worn audio equipment period I've ever tried. If hearing what I imagine the artists you listen to wanted you to hear is stale then by all means sign me up for that.

These are going to be duking it out with my Sundaras for playtime for the foreseeable future. Also fyi you can also supposedly get these to match the tuning of the Variations pretty damn well. I'll be trying that later just out of curiosity but it seems as though that'll be a bit too bassy for me.

On a side note if your ears are even just below average size I don't think these guys are going to be particularly comfortable for you. The size is almost always brought up by reviews and there is definitely good reason for that.

If anyone has fit issues, Spinfit CP155 tips solve that issue and fit completely in my smaller ears

Does this make the IEM fit less deep? I don't see how any tips could increase the comfort vs the stock small tips unless they seal at a shallower insertion so the fat nozzle doesn't have to go as deep.

The tips have thinner silicone walls and also much thinner around the part that goes on the nozzle. That, combined with the more tapered design, allows it to mold and fit deeper and more secure, compared to the stock tips which are more rounded and bulky with stiffer silicone. The nozel on its own isn't too big for most ears, it's just with the thick silicone layered on top it gets too big

Yeah the cp145 is a little thicker around the nozzle. The 155 is thinner there and shaped a little more tapered. I find them more comfortable myself, but everyone is different

Very different than spring tips. They are slimmer and longer than spring tips. I used stock tips on the dusk for a while but have since got the cp155. I also have the spring tips, but i prefer the cp155.

I don't understand your question, but I will try to answer. The small CP155 fits a bit smaller than the small tips that come with the dusk. So many people with smaller ear canals find them to be more comfortable.
