I think that's pretty true of AV people in general, rather than watching content we just care about specs. It's cringe but it's addicting I guess.

you don't need to just watch content, you have so many forums that you can hear a 100 people speak on any particular headphone. I'm addicted to my audio setup honestly, my eyes are usually closed and im off into space, that's why stats don't matter.
