Hello friends,

I somewhat recently saw a video for a new pair of true wireless earbuds that used the charging case as sort of a base station or receiver to connect to a PC when hooked up with USB. I believe it said this let it have quite low latency with excellent quality, but for the life of me I can't remember the model or who made it! I love the idea and versatility, so I was hoping one of you fine folks might serve as my memory for me and remind me of what this model may be.

Thank you in advance!

My goodness I think that just might be it! I tried googling before posting this but i suppose my googlefu is severely lacking these dayS! Are these the only pair that have that function or have other makers jumped on the train?
Also thank you so much for such a fast answer!

I would think it's still bluetooth, which is not exactly famous for its "low latency", and is hit or miss with its quality (depending on the codec and bitrate). If that's all it is, you can connect any wireless buds via bluetooth to any computer with a bluetooth transmitter, which includes all laptops, some PCs, and any PC if you install a PCIe card or USB adapter. I got a PCIe card for my PC that has wifi 6 and bluetooth 5.2 for $70 (Canadian).

If they have actually installed a lower latency tech in the charging case, that's a lot of effort and engineering for a pretty niche use case, but I guess that's the kind of thing you have to do to get noticed in a market so thoroughly dominated by Apple/Google/Samsung.

Some of the lg earbuds have what they call "plug and wireless" but i believe the input is 3.5mm
