Chances are you can't tell the difference, I could when I was younger so if you're young you might be able to but generally when I used FLAC I would just rip em off cd's that I borrowed or bought

most people would either stream it (Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, etc), but if you actually want to own your music I know many people buy stuff from bandcamp

I pay for Amazon Music's lossless tier. Not particularly great as far as streaming services go, but it's cheap. And I buy from Bandcamp if I want my own copy/want to support the artist (most artists don't make a living from streaming payouts unfortunately).

Either zDigital or Bandcamp. Flac files are usually $1 more for individual tracks on zDigital but there's been instances where they were cheaper than 320kbs MP3.

I download from Bandcamp and Qobuz. I rip CDs I buy and borrow from the library. They take up 5 times the storage space of mp3s.

What do you mean price point? Price of the FLACs or hard drives or the speakers?

This was a much bigger pain point 15 years ago, but at a time when I can buy a 16TB hard drive for like $200 that I probably won't come close to filling with lossless music within my lifetime, I kinda feel like there's little reason to leave any quality on the table.

bandcamp

there's lots of name your price stuff there too, not saying you should abuse it, but it definitely helps

Hdtracks and 7digital is where I purchase my lossless audio files. There are plenty of unethical ways of also getting lossless audio.

CDs (Exact Audio Copy), Presto Classical/Jazz and 7Digital.

I would say they're worth it at $1 per track.

Bandcamp, Steam and physical CDs. Windows Media Player is excellent for ripping wavs from CDs in my opinion.

I buy FLAC from both Bandcamp and Bleep. You can choose from 320kbps mp3, FLAC or WAV, I choose whatever seems appropriate for the type of music. They also sell physical media like vinyl, cassettes, CDs, even music for Gameboy Advance.

I also stream and download stuff from Tidal.

I use Windows Media Player on my laptop to rip my cd's to FLAC files

I use the Pulsar app on my phone to play them on headphones, or I run them from a USB stick from my Roku Ultra to my reciever.
